not to mention it can take up to five years before you can program one, and they don't often work in the rain.

That is so easy to make at home for about 5 bucks and a plastic baggie, couple of zip ties and some solder(sp) ou'll end up with a push button in the tripple nut mount the opener somewhere with the zip ties and wrap it in a beggie to keep out of water. Solder the switch to the switch pins inside a normal opener and done. Or you can just buy a keychain remote for your opener thats right there and works just as well and alot easier. Oh yeah tripple nut button not optional with a rotary mount damper.

I just keep my spare opener in my chest pocket on the left side. As I pull up, I put the bike in neutral and coast while reaching with my left hand to hit the button. Simplest solution to the problem.

Flash2P*** Powersports Garage Door Opener System - Scooter - Motorcycle Superstore
You can find it a bit cheaper but this works rather well. Just google "motorcycle garage door flash to open" or something you will find a few company's. This was just the first I found and know the system works pretty good and has code hopping technology. |
