U should be ok if its for your model bike. I put a used one on mine and it works just fine.

Yes, you can put it on your bike... Make sure you zero out the map that is installed currently on it... Look on their website for the current configuration on your bike and install the map.. Best thing is to have someone dyno and tune your bike...
